Video Database Management System offers complete solution to centralize and index multimedia video/audio files.
This article starts from introducing ORACLE8i, Visual C++ and other software platforms (maybe "softwares and platforms" or "software applications"??) which are used in the system implementation, discusses their technical attributes related to the system. Moreover, it explains the mechanism of ADO/OLEDB, its dominations and the way of use in Visual C++.
Next, we describe the system design and implementation systematically. We also list the functions of each system module and the interaction between the modules. Further more, we explain the main algorithms used in detail and provide the source codes.
At the end of this article, it describes the whole process of the system, provides runtime screen shots, relative references and user manual.

Data Base Management System for movie program is a integrated resolvent. The purpose of this system is to resolve storage and search in a great deal of multimedia audio/video files. First, I intorduce Oracle8i, visual c++ which used in the system and the related technology. Then, I explain the principle and the advantage of ADO/OLEDB thich is the mothod to access database and the usage in the visual c++. Secondly, I discuss the whole course of summarization design, particular design, implementation in the system; the function and relation of every module; the main arithmetic and souce code implemented in the software. At last, I describe the whole proccess of the software's run-time. And provide the run-time interface, related illumination, user manual.Top
